Native Multi-Link Operation (MLO) protocol support requires Windows 11 Version 24H2 or later. Check winver to ensure OS is updated with official Wi-Fi 7 client stack support.
Split Wi-Fi 7 SSIDs or disable MLO on router
Log into router administration portal, locate Wi-Fi 7 / MLO settings, and temporarily disable MLO or assign separate SSIDs to 5GHz and 6GHz bands to eliminate band steering conflicts.
Update client Wi-Fi card driver
Install the latest Intel BE200 or Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 driver package directly from the chip manufacturer to patch early firmware link-aggregation bugs.
Lower 6GHz channel bandwidth to 160MHz
In router 6GHz wireless settings, reduce channel width from 320MHz to 160MHz if physical obstacles or neighborhood interference cause high packet error rates on 320MHz channels.
