Power supply hybrid eco mode overheating inside enclosed PSU shroud
The power supply zero-RPM fan mode keeps the internal fan motionless until 50% power load, allowing heat to soak into internal capacitors inside cases with solid unventilated shrouds.
Internal desktop parts run on harmless 12V DC voltage and cannot shock you. Simply unplug the wall power cable first, then touch the unpainted metal case frame to ground static electricity.

Locate the small push-button or rocker switch on the back of the labeled 'Eco Mode', 'Hybrid', or 'Smart Fan'. Switch it to OFF so the cooling fan runs continuously at quiet low RPM.
Verify PSU fan intake orientation (pointing downward)
Check the power supply installation orientation. The large fan grille should face DOWNWARD toward the bottom case dust filter to draw fresh ambient air from under the chassis.
Clean bottom chassis power supply dust filter
Slide out the mesh dust filter from under the rear bottom of your PC case. Wash out accumulated carpet lint and dust with warm water, dry thoroughly, and reinsert.
Never place PC tower directly on plush carpet
Plush carpets sink under case feet, completely sealing off the bottom power supply air intake. Place a flat wooden board, acrylic sheet, or PC stand under the tower.
