Disable PCIe Link State Power Management
Open Windows Control Panel -> Power Options -> Edit Plan Settings -> Change advanced power settings -> PCI Express -> Link State Power Management -> set both On battery and Plugged in to Off.
Disable adapter sleep state power savings
Open Device Manager -> Network adapters -> right-click MediaTek or Realtek wireless adapter -> Properties -> Power Management -> uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Install latest OEM manufacturer driver
Download updated Wi-Fi drivers from your laptop manufacturer (ASUS, Lenovo, HP) support website rather than relying on standard Microsoft Windows Update drivers.
Reseat M.2 2230 Wi-Fi card in slot
On desktop motherboards or accessible laptops, remove M.2 Wi-Fi card, clean gold contacts with isopropyl alcohol, and reseat firmly with antenna connectors locked securely.
