Hardware components fail to function correctly due to outdated, corrupt, missing, or conflicting device drivers.

Interactive Fix Checklist

Press Win+X and select 'Device Manager'. Expand all sections and locate entries with a yellow exclamation mark, red 'X', or listed under 'Other devices'.
Perform a clean driver reinstall
Right-click the problematic device → Uninstall device → check 'Attempt to remove the driver for this device' → click Uninstall. Reboot and install the latest WHQL driver from the vendor website.
Install motherboard chipset drivers
Download and run the official AMD Chipset Driver installer or Intel Management Engine / INF Update Utility from your motherboard manufacturer's support portal.
Roll back recently updated drivers
If the issue started after an automatic update, right-click the device in Device Manager → Properties → Driver tab → click 'Roll Back Driver'.
Reseat hardware component (Safety Procedure)
If device code 10 or 43 persists, shut down Windows, switch off the (O), disconnect the AC power cord, and hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge stored electrical charge. Gently reseat the PCIe expansion card into its slot or relocate the USB device to an unshared rear I/O port.
