BSOD: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT (0x0000004E)
The Page Frame Number (PFN) list, an internal operating system structure used to map physical memory addresses, became corrupted due to faulty chips or disk I/O driver errors.
Internal desktop parts run on harmless 12V DC voltage and cannot shock you. Simply unplug the wall power cable first, then touch the unpainted metal case frame to ground static electricity.

Shut down the PC, switch off the power supply rocker switch (O), and unplug the AC power cord from the wall. Press and hold the chassis power button for 5 seconds while unplugged to drain all residual capacitor energy before touching any internal hardware.
Run Windows Memory Diagnostic tool
Press Win + R, type 'mdsched.exe', and select 'Restart now and check for problems'. Allow the standard test pass to complete; if any hardware errors are found, is defective.
Test memory sticks individually in slot A2
Power off the PC. Remove all modules except one in the primary slot (usually A2). Test each stick one at a time to identify the specific failing physical module.
Disable aggressive RAM XMP / EXPO / DOCP profile
Reboot into and disable memory overclocking, letting operate at base JEDEC speed (e.g. 4800 MHz DDR5 or 2133/2400 MHz DDR4) to test controller stability.
Run CHKDSK to repair bad filesystem sectors
Open Command Prompt as Admin and execute: chkdsk C: /f /r. Type Y to schedule at next boot, restart the PC, and allow Windows to relocate data away from damaged storage clusters.
